In recent years the ancient city of Nottingham has seen some of the largest events to celebrate St George’s Day, with thousands of locals and visitors marking this special day on the English calendar.
Nottingham City Council marks the day with “England’s largest” St George’s flag unfurled on the Council House.
The organisers plan to bring back the large parades in the future but require thousands in donations to make it possible. Meanwhile the pubs still attract large numbers of people celebrating the 23rd of April as can be seen from the footage from Last year.

Everyone can join the celebrations on Tuesday 23rd April @ 11am 2024, Ye Olde Salutation Inn, Nottingham.

Patriotic Alternative does not have any connection with this organisation or any organisers of St George’s Day events. This event was shared by PATV purely to make people aware of St George’s Day events taking place and although we encourage people to celebrate we discourage anyone to try and use events like this for political gain.
