Patriotic Alternative held our fifth annual summer camp and hike on the weekend of 5th – 7th July 2024.
It was a family-friendly event featuring camping, a BBQ, games and a gruelling hike on the Saturday. Over 150 people joined us over the weekend with activists and supporters from all 11 regions being represented.
Despite the poor weather on the Saturday, our attendees managed a gruelling 10 mile hike up Mam Tor in the beautiful English countryside. There was also an easier – but still challenging – shorter hike which was about 6 miles long. On the Saturday evening we played games, socialised with our colleagues and ate great food – including Mark Collett’s famous hotdogs! – until the sun went down.
